beijaflorherbals: Bear spirit medicine has really been speaking to me lately… This picture is such a lovely example of the bear totem.   Bear spirit is about introspection, hibernation, dreams, healing, motherhood, communion with spirit & trusting your natural strength and intuition.  Bear also represents protecting and defending your territory. When bear comes to you she may be telling you “sit back, reflect, sleep and dream of your new springtime”   Bear is telling you that you are about to enter into a spring full of new growth & beauty, but first you must take time to meditate and let your body/mind/spirit sink into relaxation.   My bear medicine herbs of choice are motherwort,  bear root ( osha root) & chamomile.
